This is Melody's first year at Fairview and has taught at the elementary level of education for 12 years.  She has a BS in elementary education and is very excited to be teaching kindergarten again!  When not busy with teaching responsibilities, she treasures spending time with her husband and 2 sons, ages 18 and 15.  She also enjoys doing ministry with her husband, Bob.  Some of her hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, walking, sending cards and baking.  One of her favorite Bible verses is Romans 12:11:  "Never flag in zeal, be aglow in the Spirit, serve the Lord."

This is John's second year at Fairview and his tenth year teaching. He previously taught at the North Sound Christian School - Mill Creek Campus (7 years), for the Pateros school district in Pateros, Washington (1 year), and taught English in Korea the summer of 2006. He has a BA in Music from the University of Washington, and a Master's in Teaching from City University. He has taught Prek-12th, but especially enjoys teaching reading to grades K-2. When not at Fairview, John enjoys playing trumpet and french horn for community orchestras and churches. He also enjoys spending time with his family. One of his favorite Bible passages is Isaiah 40:3-5: "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: "Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert, a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.""

This is Bev’s 16th year at Fairview, and 24th year teaching. She has a BA in Education from Seattle Pacific University. When not at Fairview she likes to read Christian historical fiction, play "Set," and scour thrift shops for bargains. At Fairview she enjoys the supportive family atmosphere which comes from serving the Lord together. One of her favorite Bible passages is Ephesians 2: 4-5 "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved."
